At Mighty Oaks, we provide nurturing care and experiential education tailored to meet the individual needs of our preschool aged students.

 

Immunizations

School immunizations are required by state law for children and students in attendance at public and private schools, preschools, childcare facilities and Head Start programs in Oregon.  For more information please have a discussion with your child’s pediatrician.  In addition, you may visit: http://web.multco.us/health/school-immunizations 

Toilet Learning

We ask that students enrolling at Mighty Oaks be potty trained.  This can seem like a daunting task, but we are here to help if you have any questions along your child’s learning journey.  The following are two links that most closely align with the toileting practices we use at Mighty Oaks:

Schedule

We follow the Portland Public School calendar which can be viewed here (We will hold regularly scheduled classed on all “Late Opening” days)

We will offer winter and summer camp and activity opportunities as well (Dates TBD by community need and interest).

To keep consistency for the students while still providing flexibility for families, we request that children enroll for the same days each week.  We are sensitive to individual, extenuating circumstances.  Please do not hesitate to contact us if your needs differ from our proposed schedule.

Tuition

Tuition is an annual cost for the school year (September-June).  We offer monthly, semi-annual (2% discount), and annual (5% discount) payment options so that we can best meet the needs of our families.  All tuition is non-refundable.  We do accept DHS payments.  We will review all of this information again at the time of enrollment to ensure clarity.  Rates will raise a small amount each September.

Morning Session (9-12:30)

five days:

  • 10 monthly payments: $550

four days:

  • 10 monthly payments: $475

three days:

  • 10 monthly payments: $420
two days:
  • 10 monthly payments: $340

Enrollment 

Our initial non-refundable enrollment fee is $175.  We also require the last month’s non-refundable tuition to be paid at the time of enrollment.

Currently all enrollment forms are available for pick up at Mighty Oaks or can be emailed upon request.

Harassment and intimidation includes abusive, foul or threatening language or behavior. Mighty Oaks Preschool is committed to maintaining a workplace that is free of any such harassment and will not tolerate discrimination against staff members, volunteers or agency clients.
Issues of discriminatory treatment, harassment, or intimidation on any of these bases should immediately be reported to the Executive Director or immediate supervisor and, if substantiated, prompt action will be taken.
